Plymouth, MA is a cute seaside town full of history, scenic walks, and delicious seafood. Below are some recommendations if you're interested in exploring the area while you're here!
Plimoth Patuxet Museums

Plimoth Patuxet Museums

137 Warren Avenue, Plymouth, MA 02360
, 508-746-1622

Plimoth Patuxet brings the original Plymouth Colony to life! This recreation of the colony includes period-accurate reenactments of typical daily activities of Plymouth pilgrims as well as the indigenous peoples whose home the pilgrims landed upon. This museum is what brings most people to Plymouth in the first place.

Mayflower II

Mayflower II

Water Street, Plymouth, MA 02360
, 508-746-1622

The centerpiece of Plymouth Harbor, the Mayflower II is a reproduction of the famous Mayflower ship that carried some of America's first pilgrims to the New World. If you're into early American history, this is a must-see!

Myles Standish State Forest

Myles Standish State Forest

194 Cranberry Road, Carver, MA 02330
, (508) 866-2526

We went on a walk here after touring the Mirbeau Inn & Spa and loved it! The pine trees reminded us of New Jersey's Pine Barrens and me (Andrew) fondly of Northern California. There are multiple accessible walks as well as longer, more arduous hikes; check out the trail map for your options. Parking is near the various trailheads.
