Moments before Andrew was going to delete the app designed to be deleted, he received a friendly hello on the app from someone named Emily who lived near Princeton. They hit it off on Hinge and, after a few weeks of increasingly less subtle hints to go on a date, decided to meet up for dinner and ice cream. Weekly dates soon turned into near-daily meetups, and in February 2020, the two signed a lease to move in together. Soon after, the world shut down. Being together for such a long time during such an extended period of uncertainty only deepened Emily and Andrew's love for and commitment to one another. One thing was certain: they were in love, and wanted to be together forever. After finishing their graduate degrees, the two felt that making their lifelong commitment to one another official was long overdue, and Andrew proposed in March 2023 at Emily's childhood home. After receiving an exciting job offer in the Boston area moments later, the two moved up north where they have begun to settle into their new environment with their beloved cat, Petunia, who has truly been the glue that has held their relationship together through the pandemic and beyond. They are excited to celebrate their wedding with you in 2024!
