Georgetown Square
Come and explore one our favorite little towns outside of Austin. This quaint little town offers “The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas” Where there’s lots of fun shops, places to eat and a fun place to stroll. Come see why we can’t wait to call Georgetown our future home.
Round Rock Donuts
A must see when visiting Round Rock, Texas. Very tasty donuts with all sorts of different flavors. Including our favorite, a donut the size of your head… LITERALLY.
Congress Avenue Bridge
This one of the most unique activities to do here in Austin! Since March is a GREAT time for this, we highly recommend you watch the bats from under the Congress Bridge! There are many different ways to view this event! Our favorite was going on a boat tour that takes you to view the bats on the water!
Comedy Mothership
If you are looking for late night entertainment, we highly recommend the comedy mothership! Owned by Joe Rogan, this comedy club showcases lots of local acts as well as some of the biggest comedians in the world! Make sure to buy tickets in advance by at least a couple weeks out, the place always sells out quick!
Circuit of the Americas
If you want to do something thrilling, you should check out the Circuit of the Americas. This racetrack is featured in Formula One and other motorsport competitions. You can check out the facilities while racing go karts around their outdoor track. They also host a variety of events from time to time including concerts and festivals.
Texas Capitol
The Texas Capitol Building is truly a sight to behold. This free activity allows visitors to roam the building absorbing and learning abouts its history and beauty.
Zilker Botanical Garden
If you want to do something relaxing and to get away from the city, you can definitely go see the Zilker Botanical Gardens. This garden houses 1,000's of plants in a beautiful, calming environment. Take a stroll and immerse yourself in Austin's garden for about $8 per person and $4 per child. Then nearby, you can visit Zilker Park, Austin's largest park where there are many things to do or even just sit and have a picnic.
