I met Annie when she joined marching band three years ago, and I think we both decided that was one of the best decisions we could have made! We found we were so alike, from being Catholic to having similar fashion styles, she is kind, caring, and so much like me! Her laugh is contagious and she’s such a wonderful friend to the both of us!

I got to know Mariano through a band we formed in college, and we quickly discovered just how similar we were. Both of us are really into puzzles, music, Nintendo games, Star Wars, and we both have a knack for VeggieTales impressions! He is probably the most similar man to myself I have ever found.

Meeting Claire during my Awakenings retreat meant that our friendship was something special, and it is meant to last a lifetime! Her smile brightens my day every time I see her, and she is so dear to me! I'm so thankful that she said yes to being my bridesmaid!!!

Sam was my first friend in sixth grade, and we’ve been super close ever since. Though college days kept us apart, our friendship has never diminished. Sam is recently enlisted in the military, and although this keeps us apart yet again, this has been his lifelong dream.

Jackie has been a princess in disguise her whole life! She’s an avid lover of Disney movies, loves her faith, and deeply cares for all those in the world!! I am so blessed to know her, and even more so to have her as my bridesmaid!!

Will and I have known each other pretty much throughout all our college days. We got to know each other at the Newman Center and discovered our mutual love for the Lord of the Rings, Avatar, and many other fantasy worlds. Our friendship has grown greatly over the years.

Rachael is my oldest friend from high school, and while we dealt with the horrors of high school, we also became fast friends. Even being miles apart during our college years, and now because I have moved, when we get together, we realize our friendship has never changed. I feel honored to have her as part of my wedding party!

Peter Schaper

I am seven years older than my brother, Peter, but that hasn’t stopped us from being super close. When Peter was very little we shared a bunk bed, and this became the proving grounds for the two of us to develop very similar personalities. We have the same style of humor, our mannerisms are nearly in lock-step, and we love doing everything we can together.

While Emily might be Andrew’s only sister, she has also become a dear friend of mine! We’ve bonded over well played games, riddles, and scavenger hunts! It’s been my joy to get to know this special lady, and I’m so excited to have her as part of my bridal party!

Brennain Degenhardt

Brennain is the younger brother of Chiara, the two of them being five and a half years apart. I’ve gotten to know him over the past three years, especially since he and his family moved back to Kirksville. He’s a very talented singer, he is a fellow Eagle Scout, and and he has a brilliant academic mind. I can’t wait to call him my brother-in-law!
