Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)

Sea-Tac is the closest and primary airport for both Seattle and Bainbridge Island. *IMPORTANT NOTE* - If you are taking the ferry and not renting a car, be sure to book any transportation on the island (e.g. cab, Uber/Lyft) ahead of time, especially if you are planning to go directly from Bainbridge to the airport on Saturday morning. It may be extremely difficult to find a ride at the last minute. We also recommend you carpool if possible. Once you get off the ferry in Seattle there should be no shortage of Ubers/Lyfts.

Getting to Bainbridge Island

There are three ways to reach Bainbridge Island from the airport: 1. By car and by ferry - If you are staying on the island, we recommend driving from the airport to the ferry terminal in downtown Seattle and then taking the ferry over to Bainbridge. The ferry ride takes approximately a half hour. In addition to traveling by one of Washington's most famous modes of transportation, you'll also be treated to incredible views of the city. You do not need to buy ferry tickets in advance. *PLEASE NOTE* Traveling during rush hour can result in longer lines for cars at the ferry terminal and this may impact your travel time. 2. By ferry - If you plan on staying in Seattle you can also walk/Uber to the ferry terminal in downtown Seattle and walk on to the boat and ride over to Bainbridge. *ALL CAPS PLEASE NOTE* - The Manor House is no longer offering shuttle service. See below for other transportation options on the island. 3. By car - Alternatively you can drive directly from the airport around the southern end of the Puget Sound to Bainbridge. There are no ferries involved in this route, so if you're arriving late or concerned about making the ferry this may be the best way to travel. If you do decide to take this route (and have the time) there are many places to stop along the way and grab a snack or admire the view including: Gig Harbor, Bremerton, and Poulsbo.

Ferry Schedule

Click the link below to see the Bainbridge Island ferry schedule. The boat does not run 24 hours so please keep that in mind if you are arriving late. If you are driving onto the ferry you should plan to arrive approx. half an hour before your scheduled departure time. If you are walking on, then we suggest arriving no later than 5 minutes or so prior to departure. You DO NOT need to purchase tickets in advance, but can do so online if you wish.

The Manor House at Pleasant Beach

We have blocked the entirety of the Inn at Pleasant Beach for our wedding weekend. These rooms are blocked for Thursday night 8/8 - Saturday morning 8/10 and are almost all two-person rooms. They range in cost from $250-400 per night. Most of these rooms will be reserved for close family. We will have approximately 5-8 rooms that will be available to everyone else on a first come, first served basis. Please reach out to Andrew or Cat if you are interested in booking at the Manor House.

The Marshall Suites

The Marshall Suites are located in Winslow on Bainbridge Island. The hotel is within walking distance from downtown where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and things to do. It is also a short drive (or a longer walk) from the Ferry Terminal. We will work on arranging transportation to and from the Manor House on the wedding day if enough folks end up staying at this hotel. *PLEASE NOTE* This is a popular wedding weekend and rooms will book up quickly.
