Question

I hear it rains all the time in Seattle, what should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is "cocktail attire." While we can't predict the weather, Seattle summers are typically warm and sunny during the day and cool at night. The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors so don't forget sunglasses, sunscreen, and sweaters!

What's the best way to get around Bainbridge Island?

Answer

Depends on where you stay! If you're at the Manor House, there are restaurants and stores within walking distance, but it's a quick drive/Uber to downtown. If you are at a hotel on the island, you should be able to easily walk to downtown Winslow, but will need to catch an Uber to the ceremony. If you stay in the city, you'll need to get to the ferry to take you to Bainbridge Island. A shuttle bus will be there to pick you up once the ferry arrives. NOTE - Please let us know if you decide to stay in the city and use the shuttle.

What is the food situation like at the reception?

Answer

Glad you asked. There will be snacks and passed hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour. Dinner will be served family style. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions when you RSVP and we will do our best to accommodate.

I'm interested in planning some activities either before or after the wedding, what should I do?

Answer
