San Jose International Airport

San Jose is the largest nearby airport and is only 45 minutes from the wedding venue. This airport also offers rental car selections. A rental car would be suggested due to towns being spread apart in the mountainous terrain. If you plan on staying on the venue, you will have to leave the property to have access to nearby restaurants, coffee shops and convenient stores.

Waterfall Lodge and Retreat

There will be cabins available on the wedding venue for rental. This will be a first come, first serve basis. The cabins are rural and intimate but highly preferred to really immerse yourself in the trees! The bonus, all the action is happening right outside your doorstep. We recommend double checking the mobility rate for the available cabins as some can be on a hillside and require multiple stairs to access. This is a great affordable hotel to stay right in the heart of Santa Cruz City. 7 blocks to the beach, 8 min walk to down town Santa Cruz, 15 min walk to the famous Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Also, this hotel will be completely renovated with new rooms, pool and restaurant and luckily we locked in the room rate prior so enjoy! The Hilton is a great option for those who are seeking a more laidback option for stay. This hotel is also the closest to the wedding venue and has various restaurants and amenities nearby. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is within a 15-minute drive. San Jose International Airport is 33 miles away. Chaminade Resort & Spa

Chaminade is where we will be having our Friday night Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party. Bree and I have stayed here and enjoyed the many beautiful views, amenities, tasty food and drinks. It has 2 large pools, jacuzzi's, massage spa and full gym for anyone looking for a an upscale stay, this is the place! It also has a beautiful hiking trail around the property.
