We love your kids—we really do. But this is an adult only affair and we want our wedding to be your night off!
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Sheraton Grand Seattle (see the "Travel" page for details). However your are more than welcome to stay wherever works best with your budget and needs. Seattle has many hotels and lots of AirBNB and VRBO options as well. You're sure to find somewhere that fits your budget and needs. If you have questions or need some advice, email Ashly at ashly.potts88@gmail.com
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. For anyone considering heels, please be advised that the ceremony is on grass. Wedges and flats are perfectly acceptable and encouraged.
While it can technically rain any time of year, July is typically the driest month. Average temperatures in Seattle during July range from the mid 70's to mid 80's. For our wedding, only the ceremony and cocktail hour are outside.
Originally we had discussed wanting to provide a shuttle but unfortunately, due to the fact we will have many guests choosing various places to stay throughout the city (which is totally okay and encouraged), it's no longer feasible. But don't fret! Most hotels can arrange for taxis and Uber and Lyft are very accessible.
