Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

All guests must RSVP by March 30th.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus-ones have been extended to guests with a partner, and this is reflected on the RSVP form. Due to the limited guest count granted by the Vatican and the size of our reception venue, we are unable to offer plus-ones to everyone. If you do not see the option to add a plus-one but would like to bring someone, please reach out, and we will do our best to accommodate, if possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Our dress code is black-tie. We ask that all guests wear black attire. Please keep in mind that the Vatican has a very strict dress code requiring covered shoulders and back. A black shawl is recommended for ladies wearing sleeveless/backless dresses. For more details on the Vatican’s dress code, you may visit their official guidelines here: https://www.thevaticantickets.com/vatican-dress-code/

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please let us know, and we will accommodate you.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is an adults-only celebration. We love your little ones, but this will be a child-free event. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

You are welcome to stay at any hotel of your choice; however, we recommend staying at or near the Starhotels Michelangelo, as it is the designated pickup location for entering the Vatican. The Atlante Star Hotel is another great option, and the groom and his family will be staying there. Please get in touch with us if you are interested in a group rate for either of these hotels. We recommend booking accommodations in advance, as July and August are peak tourist months in Italy and hotels tend to fill up quickly.

Question

What can I bring to the Papal Audience?

Answer

Plastic water bottle Snacks Hats Small umbrella Sunscreen Small bags only (maximum size: 40 × 35 × 15 cm)
