FAQs

The Wedding Website of Agnieszka Zawadzka and Andrew Heritage
Question

I'm having an issue RSVPing. What should I do?

Answer

We're so sorry to hear that! Please make sure you're entering your full name as listed. If the website locks you out for too many attempts, RSVP through a different browser or in incognito mode. If you're still having issues, please contact Agnieszka or Andrew.

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

We do not have a traditional registry. As we begin this next chapter together, we are saving for our first home and will be gratefully accepting monetary gifts instead.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM. Parking is located at the front and side of the church. We recommend arriving a little early so everyone has time to find their seat and settle in before things begin.

Question

What time is the reception?

Answer

The reception will begin at 6:00 PM. Parking is located behind and to the side of the banquet hall. Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM, and the celebration will continue until 1:00 AM.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The ceremony will be dressy casual. Think button-down shirt, polo, relaxed pants (chinos, khakis), sports coat or blazer, sundresses, midi dresses, or jumpsuits. The reception will be semi-formal. Think suit (dress shirt, dinner jacket, dress pants), cocktail dress, midi dress, dressy jumpsuit, or even a floor-length dress. Please no jeans or sneakers.

Question

Will children be allowed?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome! However, after 10:00 PM the DJ will begin playing more adult music. We leave it up to parents to decide what is best for their children as the evening continues.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes. There will be an open bar throughout the reception, along with liquor available at the tables for guests to enjoy. Please plan your transportation ahead of time if you plan on drinking.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please make sure to note them in your RSVP or personally contact the bride and groom. We'll make sure to notify the banquet hall and accommodate accordingly.

Question

What Polish traditions should we expect?

Answer

Yes! We will be incorporating several Polish wedding traditions during the evening. Guests will be welcomed with a traditional shot of cytrynówka, a Polish folk band to set the mood, Polish music, games, and delicious traditional food. Here are some phrases to prepare before the big day: NA ZDROWIE (pronounced "nah zdroh-vyeh") - meaning "cheers" or "to your health", typically used for toasting, wishing good health, or a way to say "bless you" after someone sneezes STO LAT (pronounced "stoh lat") - meaning "100 years", typically sang or said to the couple as a means of wishing them well, also used for birthdays DZIĘKUJĘ (pronounced "jen-koo-yeh") - meaning "thank you", pretty self-explanatory PIWO PROSZĘ (pronounced "pee-vo pro-sheh") - meaning "beer, please", typically said when dying of thirst at the bar

Question
