As high school sweethearts, we have been together for a decade. Our love story began in band class, and—believe it or not—our first kiss happened on top of the Eiffel Tower during a band trip to Paris. From there, our relationship blossomed with countless movie dates and long evenings spent watching the sunset on the beach, talking for hours. We always knew what we had was special. Even when college brought the challenge of long distance, we chose to stay together. While many advised starting college single, we believed that when life gifts you your soulmate early, it’s something to hold on to—and not let go. At just 20 years old, Andrew playfully “proposed” with a paperclip ring, a moment we still treasure. Through the years, we have been each other’s best friend, confidant, support system, and biggest cheerleader. No one can make eachother laugh harder, and no one knows the other better. After moving in together post-college and sharing an apartment for almost three years, Andrew—who “couldn’t wait any longer”—planned the perfect proposal. On a cozy cabin trip with friends, he popped the question and arranged a celebration with our closest loved ones. Now, after years of knowing we were meant to be, we are thrilled to finally make it official.
