What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the Newman Center no later than 3:40PM for the ceremony. Our Wedding Mass is at 4PM with Prelude beginning at 3:45PM.

Is there a dress code?

We kindly request semi-formal/cocktail attire for the ceremony and reception.

What is the parking situation for the ceremony?

Answer

There is lots of construction in downtown Lincoln right now, so please allow plenty of extra time to park and walk when arriving to the Newman Center. There is no church parking lot for the Newman Center, however there are parking meters available on both sides of the Newman Center, around UNL's city campus, or along the streets downtown. City Parking Garages (a few blocks from the Newman Center): Rampark Garage: 1225 P St. Larson Building & Garage (Park & Go): 1317 Q St. University Square Garage (Park & Go): 101 N. 14th St. 17th & R Parking Garage: 300 N 17th St.
