We’re getting married!

Funny enough, we met through social media. We had somehow been following each other on Instagram for some time and would comment on one another's stuff here and there. One day, Andrew decided to message Cat on instagram asking to be friends and we just started texting and talking pretty much nonstop from there! That was back in July of 2015.

We had hung out pretty often from the day we started texting. Our first date was at Jennifer Elementary School at the park. We played on the swings and just enjoyed getting to know one another! A few weeks later, Andrew took Cat to the National harbor and got us tickets to get on the Capital Wheel. We went around and around a few times - Cat had no idea what was going on. We finally got to the top for the last time and Andrew asked Cat to be his girlfriend on August 26th, 2015!

If you know anything about Cat, you know that she love Fall. Fall is her all time favorite season and it comes with all her favorite activities like going to pumpkin patches, corn mazes, fall treats, and the crisp air. On the morning of September 25th, Andrew went to pick up the ring and Cat went to the nail salon, on her own accord so she really had no idea this was going to be the day she got engaged. She didn't think anything would happen being it was literally the day he picked up the ring. They had planned for weeks to go to this corn maze/fall festival near the new apartment and Cat could not wait. She put on her super fall outfit even though it was like 85 degrees out and they headed off. They walked through the corn maze and Andrew asked for some gum out of Cat's purse. She handed him the purse, with NO IDEA that she was carrying the ring this whole time, and she kept going. Andrew called Cat's name and she turned around to him on one knee and was in shock! The tears started to well up in her eyes as Andrew reminisced about their life together. Obviously she said "yes!!" Then they shared some apple cider donuts and lemonade and went to one of their favorite restaurants for an early dinner on September 25th, 2021.
