Ciara's older brother and Emi's older brother were best friends in school. Ciara has known Emi since Emi was but a bump. Former neighbors, Emi used to drag a wagonful of toys over to play. This event could REALLY not exist without Ciara. Time and experiences bring them closer together than ever.

Dakota and Emi met around 2012 on an art website, of all places and all times. They became very close online friends who video called and chatted often before meeting in person in 2014. They're supportive friends to this day through many moves and life changes.

Emi and Erin met on a college roommate search website before meeting in person during freshman orientation. They bonded while eating cookies on the floor of their dorm and swapping stories. They lived together for the rest of college and have had many adventures since.
Tabitha Butler

Tabitha was one of Emi's three roommates from freshman year of college. The four girls squished together in one dorm room, so they bonded quickly. Emi and Tabitha bonded over shared interests and media, and their shared tastes extend to the concerts they attend together these days. Emi is also a yearly attendee of Tabitha's fun, themed birthday parties.

The last added roommate of the freshman year quad, Kat and Emi were the certified night owls of the group, and they spent many nights staying up too late and trying to be productive and talking about all manner of things. They bonded over musicals and video games. They spend time together now playing board games and video games online.

Casey and Emi met in college through Erin and through them both being English majors. They maintained a friendship through college, but grew even closer after college when they moved to the same area. They enjoy going on book-themed adventures and taking advantage of local nightlife.

Jeff is Andrew's older brother and lifelong example of who Andrew wanted to be when he grew up. They spent many summers in the woods, playing war with sticks and climbing trees. Now they enjoy gaming together (still playing war) and going to metal concerts. Andrew is honored to have Jeff by his side on his special day.
Keane O'Kelley

Keane and Andrew met on the playground in 2002. Their mutual interest in foursquare became a lifelong friendship full of making music, playing video games, and traveling together. Keane was the lead singer in their high school band and an exceptional guitarist. Andrew appreciates him for his levelheaded advice.
Mason Heinz

Mason's mom was Andrew's third grade teacher. Planning ahead for her son's move to St. Charles, she picked Andrew to be Mason's pen pal. They exchanged letters for some time before meeting in person in 2004. They quickly became inseparable, planning sleepovers, playing wiffle ball, and going on bike rides. There are more memories of Andrew's childhood that include Mason than do not.

Tim and Andrew met in middle school due to their similar schedules and interests. They geeked out over the Cubs together and spent class goofing off. They still geek out over the Cubs and attend many baseball games together. Andrew appreciates Tim's steadfast loyalty and dedication to keeping his eye on the ball (the baseball, that is).
Ryan Hartson

Ryan attended the same elementary school as Andrew, but their paths would not cross until middle school English. Their senses of humor and shared outlook on the world drew them together as fast friends. Over the years, they've had late nights full of conversation and merriment. Ryan is Andrew's close confidant, and these days you can find them across the table from each other at Chili's talking about books.

Andrew and Joe met their freshman year of high school after realizing that their brothers knew each other. They talked about playing bass and worked together on group projects. They've grown close over the years, meeting up for games, concerts, and conversation. Joe is a strong and loyal friend who is always there for his friends.
Davis Cox

Andrew and Davis's friendship grew as they played music together. Davis was the guitarist in their high school band. His goofy antics quickly endeared him to Andrew, who shares a similar love of mischief. To this day, they make music and memories together.
Grant Bonnstetter

Grant and Andrew met on a Biology field trip to a creek. Later on, Grant would join the high school band as the drummer, rounding out the group and bringing the rhythm. Andrew appreciates Grant's straightforward nature and is glad to see his triumphant return to the Midwest following his recent move.
