Is there a dress code?
Answer
Please wear cocktail attire with an autumnal color palette in mind. There is no requirement for dress length, but no jeans! No shirt, no shoes, no service.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Kids are not forbidden from attending, but we'd suggest making it a date night if you can! If this will prevent you from attending, then bring the kids along.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive at the Barn at 4:00 p.m. This will give you time to take in the space and settle in before the ceremony at 4:30 p.m.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
No, the wedding will have a cash bar, but feel free to purchase and enjoy drinks from the bar. We will even have two signature cocktails that, when purchased, go toward our honeymoon! We appreciate your support. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a BYOB event. Alcohol cannot be brought to the premises unless it has been purchased from the bar.

Where should I sit?
Answer
Pick a seat, not a side. You will be directed to the ceremony area where you can feel free to take a seat anywhere but the first row of seats--those are reserved for immediate family only.

What time does the reception end?
Answer
We will see all guests off and begin breaking down the event at 10:00 p.m.

Can I take pictures?
Answer
Please do not take any photos at the ceremony! We hired a photographer for a reason. If you want photos, we can send you a copy. Feel free to take photos at the reception, but the photographer will be present at that time as well. We'd love to have photos of everyone enjoying themselves, and not photos of phones.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
The guests we are expecting to attend are noted on the invitation (minus children). If you would like to bring a plus one, please reach out to us!

Is Emi changing her name?
Answer
No! After marriage, Emi will remain Emi Howard.

What does the ceremony space look like?
Answer
In case you need to plan ahead for attire, the ceremony is outdoors on grass with a concrete aisle. The reception is indoors on wooden floor.
