Question

Transportation Rio - Buzios and back?

Answer

Bus from Rio to Búzios on the 2nd: We’re providing a bus for anyone who wants a ride from Rio to Búzios on the 2nd. Due to heavy traffic this time of year, the bus will depart at 7 am to ensure we avoid the worst of it. If you’d like to join, please let us know in advance to reserve your spot! Renting a Car: If you want more freedom to explore beyond Búzios, renting a car might be the best option. This gives you the flexibility to visit other places and travel at your own pace. Shuttle Services: There are also shuttle services you can book for yourself or your group. Check out services like inbuzios.com or marinhoturismobuzios.com.br for shuttles that pick up directly from your hotel or the airport. Return Trip to Rio: The journey back to Rio is usually quicker, taking about 2.5 to 3 hours. Because everyone will have different departure times, we suggest either renting a car or booking a shuttle service, like the ones mentioned above, to arrange your transportation back to Rio or the airports. This way, you can travel at your convenience!

Question

Is Rio de Janeiro safe for tourists?

Answer

Rio is like any big city—it’s all about being street-smart! Stick to well-known tourist areas, avoid wandering into unfamiliar neighborhoods. Keep your valuables close (a crossbody bag is your friend!), and maybe skip the flashy jewelry. Be mindful when using your cell phone in public—it's best to use it discreetly and avoid flashing it around in crowded places. Always use official taxis or ride-sharing apps like Uber, especially at night. And remember, a smile and a friendly attitude go a long way in Rio. Enjoy the stunning sights, soak up the culture, and keep your caipirinhas close and your wallet even closer!
