For those of you traveling from far away, we've included several transportation options to get to Tepoztán from Mexico City (1.5-2 hours depending on traffic). Once you're in Tepoz, we've suggested a hotel and also highly recommend the Airbnb route. For reference, Andreas' family home is in Barrio Santo Domingo.

Mexico City to Tepoztlan: private taxi service

There is a local Tepoztlán transport business - Gabriel's Taxi Service - that we use frequently. The cost of taking a taxi from Mexico City to Tepoz is ~USD80. Gabriel coordinates most of his business via WhatsApp. In order to make his life easier (and we hope yours as well) we've created a sign-up sheet for you to fill out if you'd like to use Gabriel's service: https://bit.ly/3ZHWoHU. In addition to including your arrival/departure times (in separate tabs), you can list any special requirements you might have (e.g. car seats) under the notes section. And if you see someone else arriving at a similar time as you and would like to coordinate a carpool, feel free to do that as well!

Mexico City to Tepoztlan: Public Transportation

->Take an Uber from the airport to Tasqueña ->Find the Pullman bus company and purchase a ticket to Tepoztlán. The bus will leave you at the gas station at the town entrance. From here you can take a taxi (50-100 pesos) to your accommodation.
