Tepoz is a fairly walkable town (but note that sidewalks are optional and the streets are cobblestone). It's also easy to take a taxi just about anywhere.
After extensive exploration, we've come to the conclusion that individual taxis are the best option for getting to and from the venue. The easiest ways to arrange for a taxi is by sending a message to the taxi WhatsApp group: +52 777 189 8649. Just send your location and desired pick-up time and you’ll be assigned a taxi number. Note: the taxis fit four people maximum. It’ll be a 5-7 minute drive from the center of town and don’t let them charge you more than MXN 100-150 (and a bit more if you’re staying further out). Pro tip: ask when you get into the taxi how much they’ll charge you and agree on a price from the start.
