Grandscape
A large-scale entertainment complex with a variety of attractions, including an indoor water park, an ice rink, a movie theater, and numerous restaurants and shops. It's a popular destination for families and those seeking fun and excitement. One of the standout restaurants in Grandscape is Quartino, a great Italian place known for its delicious food, fun atmosphere, and lots of wine options. Originally from Chicago, Mike and Andrea are very happy that they opened one up in Dallas. Distance from hotel: 2.1 miles
The Star in Frisco
The Star is a 91-acre campus that’s home to the Dallas Cowboys' headquarters, plus tons of restaurants, shops, and things to do. You can tour the Cowboys’ practice facility (The Ford Center), or just relax with coffee, food, and drinks. Our recommendations are Ascension (Andrea's favorite coffee spot), Mi Cocina, City Works, Heirloom Haul, or Sidecar Social. Distance from hotel: 2.7 miles

A large urban retail and family-focused area with upscale shops, restaurants, offices, and entertainment options. Distance from hotel: 2.8 miles
Torchy's Tacos
Known for their tacos and, in our opinion, the best queso in all of Texas. If you get an opportunity, stop in for some breakfast tacos! You will NOT be disappointed. Distance from hotel: 4.1 miles
Rodeo Goat
Known for their multitude of different burgers, Mike swears it’s the best burger spot in Dallas. It’s definitely a more laid back place if you’re looking for somewhere to chill out and have a great meal. Distance from hotel: 4.4 miles
Bread Winners Cafe & Bakery
Breadwinners is definitely the choice of breakfast restaurants for us. From an arrangement of freshly baked breads and pastries to a unique southern twist on breakfast classics, there’s something there for everyone. Their coffee is amazing as well. Mike would highly suggest that you try the banana bread french toast! Distance from hotel: 5.5 miles *There is also a location at NorthPark mall*
Hillstone
If you’re looking for something a little more upscale, be sure to stop in at Hillstone. Andrea - a self proclaimed spinach and artichoke dip connoisseur, would say it’s the best in the U.S. Mike would also say that their grilled artichokes are among one of the best apps he’s ever had. Their french dip is amazing too. Be sure to make a reservation, as it’s nearly always full! Distance from hotel: 19 miles

A high-end shopping mall with stores, restaurants, and cafes. Andrea's favorite mall. Distance from hotel: 21 miles
Perot Museum of Nature and Science
A science museum with interactive exhibits and programs on a variety of topics, including space exploration, dinosaurs, technology, and natural history. It's a great place for families and kids to learn about science in a fun and engaging way. Distance from hotel: 24 miles
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza
Dedicated to the life and assassination of President John F. Kennedy. It's located on the sixth floor of the former Texas School Book Depository where the shooting took place. Distance from hotel: 24 miles
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
A 1,500-acre botanical garden with over 50 gardens, including a Japanese Garden, a Wildflower Garden, and a Rose Garden. It also features a butterfly house, a children's garden, and a lake. Mike was so impressed by the Botanical Gardens that they were a big reason he first wanted to move to Dallas. Distance from hotel: 28 miles

A massive honky-tonk with live bull-riding and a dance floor. Located in the historic stockyards of Fort Worth, it’s a great way to see the country roots that DFW embraces. Andrea and Mike like going to Billy Bob’s to see live music with their friends. Distance from hotel: 43 miles
