FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail/formal attire. Ladies, please refrain from wearing any white, ivory, champagne, or light pink! To complement the evening’s elegance, we kindly request guests choose midi or long dresses for our wedding attire. The ceremony will be outside (weather dependent) and the reception will be indoors.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love all of our friend's and family's children! However, due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 21 on our wedding day, with the exception of children in the wedding party.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the limited capacity of our venue, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your envelope. For example, if you have a plus one, your address will be listed as "Mr./Miss XYZ and Mr./Miss XYZ." If you are confused, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one! We want everyone to share in the celebration and this will ensure that we are surrounded by our close friends and family.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Frisco. Frisco has many great shops, restaurants, and activities, and is only 30 minutes from downtown Dallas. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Sheraton Stonebriar Hotel at a discounted rate. The hotel provides a shuttle that will take you within a 5-mile radius. Transportation to the venue (located 25 minutes away) will be provided from the Sheraton Stonebriar. Please navigate to the "Travel" section for more information and booking directions.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 PM CST. We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes before!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Brighton Abbey has a large parking lot in the front, right when you pull up. Feel free to park anywhere in there!

Question

Can I take pictures throughout the ceremony/reception?

Answer

We request that you turn off/silence all phones during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture this special moment, and would be happy to send you any pictures upon request! During cocktail hour and the reception, please feel free to take as many pictures as you would like!

Question

What's the bar situation?

Answer

We will provide a full open bar with spirits, beer, cocktails, and a selection of red & white wine. We will also have multiple non-alcoholic options.
