Old Pasadena
Old Town Pasadena is where Andrea and Todd first met. Specifically on the intersection of Raymond and Green street. It's a very walkable area with vibrant cafes, restaurants, bar, boba shops, and many more! The place makes you want to grab a coffee, browse around, and just enjoy the vibe. Perfect for a relaxed day of exploring.
South Lake Avenue
More relaxed and upscale shopping and dining. Also very walkable and if you're interested on trying the $20 Erewhon smoothie (LOL), this area is the place to go.
Norton Simon Museum
Compact but incredible art museum with works by Degas, Picasso, and Van Gogh. Fun fact, this is the first museum Andrea went to when she first moved to Pasadena in 2014.
The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens
World-class art collections, rare books, and stunning themed gardens (don’t miss the Japanese and Desert gardens). This place has hosted filming for many movies and shows, but some famous ones include The Wedding Planner, Beverly Hills Ninja, The West Wing, Memoirs of a Geisha, Legally Blonde 2, Intolerable Cruelty, and even episodes of Star Trek and CSI.
Rose Bowl Stadium
Visit for concerts, football games, or the famous Rose Bowl Flea Market on the second Sunday of each month. There are many public courts and tracks in the area if you're looking for an area to work out. You can play tennis, run, or just take a stroll.
Arlington Garden in Pasadena
A peaceful Mediterranean-style public garden perfect for a quiet walk or photos. Especially beautiful during Spring.
Descanso Gardens
Beautiful, laid-back gardens great for families and nature lovers.
