EN:Tim and his family are from Saint-Quentin, a charming town in northern France, and the wedding will be held at the beautiful Château de Vadancourt in Maissemy. We recommend staying in Saint-Quentin, which offers a variety of accommodation options and amenities, and traveling to the venue by car or taxi (about 15-20 min away). Paris - Saint-Quentin

Option: By Train Step 1: Get to a Paris Train Station - Departure stations in Paris: Trains to Saint-Quentin typically depart from Gare du Nord station, which is one of the major train stations in Paris and easily accessible by metro, bus, or taxi. Step 2: Purchase Ticket - You can buy tickets for the TER (Train Express Régional) or Intercités train service that connects Paris to Saint-Quentin. It’s best to book in advance, especially during peak hours. It’s also usually less expensive. - Tickets are available at, self-service kiosks at the station, or online via the SNCF website or apps like Oui.sncf. - Depending on the service and the time of booking, tickets cost around €15-€25 one-way. Step 3: Arrive at Saint-Quentin - The train station in Saint-Quentin is called Gare de Saint-Quentin, located about 2 kilometers from the town center. - From the station, you can take a bus, taxi, or simply walk to your destination depending on where you’re headed (and the amount of suitcases you are carrying). It takes less than 30 minutes to get to the city center.

Rental Car

Paris- Saint-Quentin

Step 1: Rent a Car - There are several car rental companies at Paris airports (e.g., Charles de Gaulle Airport, Orly Airport) and in city locations. Popular rental agencies include Europcar, Hertz, Avis, Sixt, and Enterprise. - The process of renting a car usually requires a valid driver’s license - Rental cost can vary, but expect to pay around €30-€50 per day for a standard car. Step 2: Route - The most direct driving route from Paris to Saint-Quentin is via the A1 autoroute (motorway), which is a toll road. - Distance: About 150 km (93 miles). - Time: The drive takes more or less 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions and the airport you arrived to. Charles de Gaulle/Roissy is about 30 mins closer than Orly. NB: If you can avoid to drive in Paris, it’s probably better so you would avoid the traffic.
