My name is Marissa, I’m Drea’s Maid of Honor. I’ve known Drea for over 10 years now. We met when I was working retail as a manager in 2011 at Guess Accessories; I actually hired Drea to be one of the managers on the team. We clicked instantly and from there, the rest is history. It’s interesting because I knew her brother and sister-in-law before meeting her, so it was one of those things like wow it’s a small world. Literally my friendship with Drea means so much to me. She holds a special place in my heart, she is such an amazing woman: smart, funny, understanding, relatable...I know she has my back and I have hers. This is such a big moment in her life and she truly deserves it and I’m grateful that I get to experience this time in her life with her and share these memories and milestones.

My name is Saya and I’ve had the blessing of being Andrea’s sister in law for (over 7 years by time of wedding). Our relationship has grown tremendously over the last 5 years so much so that I look at her no different than I do my two younger sisters. Sisterhood has always been important to me considering I am the oldest of three girls but I never thought I’d find a sister in someone that was once a stranger. I treasure my relationship with her and I will continue to be someone that she can rely on and confide in especially as it relates to the amazing commitment that she and Rashad are promising. When I see Drea, I see someone who is so full of determination and that quality is going to help her overcome all of the things that marriage brings. I wish them both happiness and longevity in this new season!

I’m Brittany Nicholson. I met Andrea about 10 years ago we worked at Forever 21 together. Her friendship means the world to me. Being friends for so long we both went through different experiences and stages of life together. She always had my back. As she continued to level up during her management career she was dragging me right along and I appreciate that so much. She didn’t hesitate to look out and show me love. It’s a full circle moment seeing the woman she has become.

Hello I’m Nina Kae, I’m the Best friend. Me and Drea have known each other since preschool. To sit back and see all of the conversations we would have as young women and the wedding to see everything come to life is absolutely beautiful.

I’m a friend of the groom. Rashad and I met while serving onboard the USS Vella Gulf in 2015. We stood on watch together and have been locked in ever since. Onboard the ship, I could always count on him for a good midday laugh during lunch or just passing through the passage ways. As time has gone on, our conversation has changed a bit from young man jokes and laughs to more meaningful conversations about life and our future plans. Although we never fail to crack a good joke on each other. I look at Rashad as my brother now more than a friend. He’s family that the powers that be knew I needed.

Hello all! My name is Elisha. I am a groomswoman for Rashad. He and I have known each other since 2009 when we were in college in Greensboro, NC, and we have been rocking ever since! I’m proud to have been able to witness him grow from being in college, to going into the military, going back to school, to being the successful mature man he is today! I am so happy that Andrea and Rashad’s paths have crossed! She is such a dope and beautiful person! And such a blessing! And I have no doubt that they will spend eternity together! I am Rashad’s older brother, so I have known him all his life, and I have never seen Shad more happy and full of life then I have now and I am just glad that he has found the person he would like to spend forever with. My name is Braxton, I am Rashad’s brother and groomsman. As the youngest, I find humor in taking any opportunity to laugh with, joke, and annoy Rashad whenever I can. It has been amazing to watch Rashad grow and evolve through the various stages of his life, especially after he met Andrea. Rashad is dedicated and desires to be an example to those around him. I am happy that he has found his forever in Andrea, and to be a witness to what the future holds for them as they start this new chapter. Callier and I met in bootcamp in 2013 and went to our first ship together. I look at him as a brother more than a friend. Weather we’re sharing a laugh reminiscing about those first years in the military/ bootcamp, catching up on life, or just checking in, we always make it a priority to stay involved in each others lives. I’m very proud to see his relentless effort towards building the life he wants to lead, also honored to stand by him as he looks to embark on this new journey with his forever partner. I wish many blessings for him and his future wife in both life and marriage.
