Our Story

Sometimes, all it takes is one swipe to change everything. We met on Hinge, where a simple moment turned into something unforgettable. I remember seeing Andrea’s beautiful eyes and smile and thinking to myself, “please like me back.” Luckily, she did—and from that moment on, everything began to fall into place. After a week of talking, we had our first date at Diner 248. Sitting together, sharing spinach artichoke dip and laughing about how much we both loved ordering salads at a diner, something just felt easy. Natural. Right. By the end of that night, we both knew we wanted more time together—and more quickly followed. A second date turned into a third, then a fourth, and before long, we couldn’t imagine not seeing each other. After a weekend trip and a two-hour phone call that neither of us wanted to end, we made it official on October 29, 2024. From there, our lives began to intertwine in the most meaningful ways. We met each other’s friends and families, and I had the privilege of getting to know Andrea’s son—an experience that made everything feel even more complete. It never felt forced; it felt like we truly belonged in each other’s worlds. As the months went on, we fell deeply in love. The first time we said “I love you” is something we’ll never forget—it was more than just words; it was a feeling of something real, unconditional, and lasting. About three months in, I realized Andrea was the person I was meant to spend my life with. Still, I wanted to savor every moment and let our story unfold naturally. Eventually, we took the next step and moved in together, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and shared memories. We traveled together, went to fairs, and embraced life not just as a couple, but as a family. Through it all, one thing remained true: anywhere and anything with you, Andrea. And I meant it every time. After our first year together, I started thinking seriously about forever. By January, those thoughts turned into plans. And on Valentine's Day 2026, I asked Andrea—the love of my life—to marry me. She said yes. And now, here we are—grateful for every moment that brought us together, excited for everything ahead, and ready to spend forever side by side.
