Lara, affectionately called Gertrude, is Lee's younger sister by three years. Due to her precociousness, she has always been a dependable source of wisdom and guidance. They have always been very close siblings, despite Lee's bullying as a child. Lara is responsible for fostering Lee's love of animals and cooking, and she persistently attempts to spark his interest in health/fitness. Lara is also a radiologist, so these days you can find them discussing exciting patient cases and the physics of radiology. Lee is honored to have Lara standing by his side.
Aaron Peterson
Man of Honor
Aaron is Andrea's little brother. Although younger, Andrea looks up to Aaron as being a role model. Aaron was one of Andrea's favorite playmates growing up, as she could easily convince him to partake in adventures with her. As adults they remain extremely close by calling each other weekly, and looking to each other for life advice. Andrea is greatly honored to have Aaron standing by her side.
Alan Peterson III
Officiant
Alan is Andrea's older brother. He has been a constant source of support and encouragement for Andrea. He is also a photographer and artfully took Andrea and Lee's engagement photos. Andrea has always looked to Alan for wisdom and guidance. When deciding on an officiant, Lee and Andrea could not think of a more suitable person than Alan.
Rex Hewett
Ring Bearer
Rex is Lee and Andrea's beloved golden retriever. Lee got Rex as a puppy at 7 weeks prior to starting medical school. Rex has been a constant source of happiness, love, and affection for both Andrea and Lee. Coming home exhausted from the hospital, Rex's wagging tail and unconditional love lifts their spirits. Rex also carried the engagement ring when Lee proposed to Andrea.
