I’m concerned about COVID… What’s y’all’s plan to manage COVID at the wedding?

Answer

We are really excited to have everyone with us, but completely understand anxiety surrounding the pandemic. Masks will be required at the ceremony for all people, regardless of vaccination status. For the reception, we are contacting guests about their vaccination status (if we don’t already know it). For guests who are unvaccinated, we are asking that that you get a COVID test 2 days before the wedding and send us a photo of the negative result. Masks at the reception will be strongly encouraged for folks that are unvaccinated. For our vaccinated people, masking will be at your discretion. We will be keeping the reception mainly outside, and are providing spaces for people to socially distance as they see fit. We will also be providing wristbands in green (ok with hugs and close contact), yellow (generally ok with contact, but please ask first what I am comfortable with), and red (please wear a mask if you are talking with me).
