Sal Del Rey is our favorite place to escape the city and adventure. We love coming out here to stargaze, look at wildlife, and appreciate the salt lake.
South Padre Island
South Padre Island is our favorite place to have fun! we love coming here to swim, fish, go-kart, watch the fireworks, and eat the delicious food!
Birdie Bistro
Birdie bistro is located in McAllen, it’s a European-style gourmet restaurant. It’s unique, super delicious, and chic! They have food perfect for brunch, dinner, and dessert. They also have a wide variety of refreshments! P.S, we recommend the chicken or shrimp Alfredo pasta, and the Nutella crepé with strawberries and bananas!
WesMer Drive-In
With Covid still lingering and fear of large crowds, the Wesmer drive-in is a great activity to do with friends and family all while being in the comfort of your car! They charge per vehicle and the great thing about it is you can take an unlimited amount of snacks, blankets, pillows, show up in your pajamas and be comfy. On Tuesday’s it’s $5 and includes 2 movies and on the weekends the price is $10 and also includes 2 movies!
Snowball Express Edinburg
Snowball Express is our favorite place to do late-night or random munchie runs! They have all our favorite snacks from hot Cheetos and cheese to Oreo shakes to funnel cakes and everything in between! We recommend it 100%!
Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge
If it isn’t obvious enough, we love the outdoors and adventuring. We love coming to the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge because of its history, wildlife, and exploring its 2,088 acres!
Port Mansfield
Port Mansfield is a great place to go fishing, enjoy a picnic, and hand feed the deer that roam freely. Port Mansfield is mainly known for being able to hand feed the deer that approach you ready to eat.
