The sooner the better! This will be HUGE in helping us be ready for the big day!
The Cathedral will be open to guests starting at 5:15 pm. Mass will begin promptly at 6:00 pm, so please arrive early to find parking and seating!
Our dress code is Black Tie Optional | Formal. We’d love for you to dress up and celebrate with us! Since we will be in a Catholic church, we kindly ask that attire be respectful of the setting: shoulders are acceptable, but please avoid anything too revealing or consider bringing a wrap to the ceremony.
Our marriage ceremony will take place within a full Catholic Nuptial Mass, which lasts about an hour. The Mass includes readings, prayers, music, the exchange of vows, and Communion. Guests who are not Catholic are very welcome! and you may participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Communion is reserved for Catholics, but if you’d like to receive a blessing, you are welcome to follow in line. When you reach the priest or Eucharistic minister, simply cross your arms over your chest to indicate you wish to receive a blessing. You are also welcome to remain seated during this time. We feel so blessed to be able to celebrate this Sacrament surrounded by the people we love!
Both Christ the King and Guardian Works have dedicated parking lots. Christ the King's parking deck is across the street from the Cathedral at the corner of Peachtree Road and Peachtree Way. Guardian Works has a free gravel lot across the street. There is also a parking garage located at Westside Provisions District Garage.
There will be transportation available from the ceremony to the reception (about a 15 minute drive). If you'd like a seat, please let us know on your RSVP!
