Mia and Andrea were friends in high school but became close after graduation. They both went to beauty school and worked together at Mia’s sisters salon. Soon Mia and Andrea were inseparable, best friends. Mia and Andrea did everything together. Over the course of their friendship they have lived together, for different spans of time and become family. Mia is Andrea’s person. (If you’re a Grey’s Anatomy fan, you get it) She’s the best friend who has been there for all of it. For the great days, the sad days, losing loved ones, boys, Mia becoming a mom, moving from city to city, state to state then completely across the country. Mia has been her support and their for everything. Mia is more like a sister to Andrea that just a best friend.

Stephen Cosenza

STEVO! In the early years of Daniel's athletic career you could always find him playing one sport and usually having one particular friend and family involved, and that would be Stephen and the Cosenzas. In Fact, from the ages of 5-14 Daniel and Stephen were on the same soccer team under the same coach, Stephen Sr. During these crucial years Daniel and Stephen grew on and off the field as teammates and best friends. They shared wacky times growing up in Elk Grove together and colliding the networks of friends they made from the different middle and high schools they attended. Some of Daniel's favorite memories with Stephen were traveling to soccer tournaments with him and his family during the summer. It was routine for Daniel to spend an entire weekend with the Cosenzas while traveling out of town to with all the early morning games they had. It was incredible to have a brother and second family with the Cosenzas and it was a special place of belonging for Daniel throughout his life. After high school both Daniel and Stephen would go on to get degrees from prestigious colleges, NYU and KU, while staying in close contact. Another timeless memory was when Daniel was able to visit Stephen in New York during Daniel's last year at Kansas. Although only 25 days older by date, Stephen has been an older brother and best friend to Daniel through the most pivotal moments and times in his life. It'll be a humbling honor to have Stephen as his best man on his big day.

Katie-Cat Rawr! Katie and Andrea became friends at CA Jacobs! Andrea was new to the Dixon School system and Katie welcomed her with open arms. Katie and Andrea did all the wonderful kid things together from late night dance parties, choreographing dance routines to late night prank calls and voicemails! Most weekends you could also find them jetting off to catch the new movie that was out! Middle school through college, and now with years of adult life, Katie has remained a constant in Andrea's life. They have truly grown together. They continue to get together for girls’ nights and celebrate their big moments. Life has ups and downs and no matter how far they may be in distance they have always been there in support for everything. Katie is one who Andrea calls when she needs anything. Sometimes it’s a recipe or life advice! Andrea was blessed to stand by Katie and celebrate her and Will’s special day, and she is so happy to have Katie stand with her now!

JGAM! One of Daniel's longest and closest friends to date, Jared and Daniel's friendship kickstarted in 2001 when they shared Ms. Graham's first grade class at Foulks Ranch Elementary, right around the corner from where they both grew up. They became best friends quickly, goofing off in the classroom, competing in every sport at recess, and almost always hanging out after school. Daniel and Jared shared instrumental times growing up as brothers and playing football and baseball at the park they grew up next to. Jared and Daniel had some of their favorite memories together getting into trouble in their later elementary and early middle school years. Their rebellious friendship carried into high school as they graduated and thrived as classmates during their 4 years together. After high school, Jared and Daniel remained brothers and best friends even though they led different lives from one another. Jared's loyalty and comradery over the years has been unparalleled and Daniel has waited for the day when he gets the chance to have his brother and best friend to be at his side.

Lindsay Olenic

Lindsay and Andrea met at a group interview for the San Jose Sharks. The only two women, they instantly connected. They were hired together to start their careers in sports and it was the beginning of a lifelong friendship. Lindsay and Andrea navigated new lives together in San Jose. Exploring new restaurants, bars, concerts and of course sporting events. They quickly became best friends. Some of Andrea's favorite memories with Lindsay are road trips and random adventures they have taken together. Lindsay and Andrea are both always up for whatever could be fun! They also share a love for craft IPAs, so heading to breweries with some great food, is where you can find them on weekends! Even with the distance between them, their friendship has only changed to more flights and FaceTime! Lindsay was there when Andrea met Daniel and she has been there for every step in support of their relationship. Andrea is so happy to have Lindsay stand with her!

Cody Givon

CODY G! Daniel and Cody went to the same high school and shared a couple of classes over the years, but their friendship began and evolved outside of the classroom, mostly while hanging out after school and at a couple parties here or there. Cody and Daniel were prone to making a spontaneous trip or two together to Santa Cruz, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, and even London! One of Daniel's greatest memories was going with Cody to London to see their favorite soccer team, Chelsea, play in a Premier League match. It was Daniel's first time outside of the US and Cody was generous enough to bring Daniel along on a trip they made before Cody left for college. Their adventures traveling around the vast city of London and reveling in the Chelsea crowd were both unbelievable times they shared together early on in their young friendship. Through their years in college to today Daniel and Cody have remained close friends through gaming together on Xbox and catching up on sports 24/7. Cody's has been a genuine best friend to Daniel through the chaotic and epic adventures they've shared together. It will only be right to see Cody at Daniel's side for his next big adventure and moment on his wedding day.

K! Kerstin and Andrea’s friendship began in middle school and is one that goes the distance! Inseparable throughout high school, attending all milestones together and conquering records in the pool together as part of a qualifying relay team. The years have flown by but the love they have has only grown. Always noticing how similar they are, just about every experience each of them has taken on the other has experienced one almost identical. They're the friends who laugh together, cry because they're laughing so hard, wipe the tears, both happy and sad, and amplify anger for each other. Life changes through college and adult life, though A and K stayed connected while K lived all throughout Europe and A traveled the US! Thanks to technology, their bond hasn’t changed! K has been there through everything with Andrea since they were kids. Andrea can't imagine saying "I do" without Kerstin by her side.

Becoming official brothers on February 22, 2020 through the beautiful marriage between Garen and Lauren, Daniel has had a close relationship with Garen for quite some time. Back in the early years of Lauren and Garen’s relationship there was a family trip to San Francisco where Daniel and Garen became good friends. While the rest of the family snuck away to The Bueno Vista bar for Irish Coffees, Garen was cool enough to hang with Daniel walking around Pier 39 and killing time talking and hanging out. Daniel was lucky enough to share the stage as one of Garen’s groomsmen for his and Lauren’s wedding. Over the long course of knowing each other, Daniel has been able to count on Garen as an older brother and rely on his advice in school, professional career, and everyday life. It’ll be a true honor for Daniel to have Garen share the stage with him for his special day.

Pinkie! Courtney and Andrea have been friends for a very long time. It started out on the basketball court when they were just learning. Their love for the game and each other carried on throughout high school. They travelled to many out of town tournaments together and created amazing memories! Courtney and Andrea have always been on a team on and off the court supporting each other. As they became adults priorities changed but their friendship never did. The scenery changed from basketball courts to whatever sounded fun! Courtney and Andrea both have very go with the flow mindsets that create many adventures! They’re both always down for a good time! They understand each other. Life has thrown curve balls to them both but they always empathize and relate to each other. Unwavering support has gone both ways for years and continues to as each new adventure comes their way! Late night calls when somethings on their minds, last minute flights when a curve ball hits, spur of the moment adventures, and everything in between they're there for each other. There are so many unspoken understandings between Courtney and Andrea, where they just get it, with just a look.

JFREE! It’s tough to pinpoint a time when Daniel and Jordan first met due to them attending the same elementary, middle and high school. They would eventually become teammates on the soccer field in high school and also on the Elk Grove Revolution. They shared memories of going to soccer tournaments together, goofing around in high school, and then eventually carrying the shenanigans into college. One of Daniels favorite memories with JFree, was his first time going to San Luis Obispo with Jordan where he introduced him to one of his favorite hobbies to date, Beer Dye. Daniel and Jordan bring out the best in ont another and have been able to look after another as good friends and brothers through their years in high school, college, and today.

Erika and Andrea become friends in Junior High. They met at school and became friends spending time playing basketball and enjoying dances, parties and all things throughout High School. After High School, they spent years working in the Mirage Salon downtown Vacaville. Starting their careers as hairstylists and exploring the bar scene together as young adults. Erika and Andrea have shared so many wonderful memories. Andrea was blessed to stand with Erika when she married Jovani, and is so blessed to have her stand by her side now. Erika and Andreas lives have changed from bars and salons to hanging with Erika’s kids and girls trips. They’ve always made each other important in their lives. Andrea is so blessed and happy to have Erika apart of her life.

CELO! Daniel and Marcelo may have kicked off their friendship on the soccer field when they played for the same rec-league team around the age of 5-6, when everyone knew Marcelo to be the left-footed prodigyy of Elk Grove! Both would go on to have vital experiences on the field as opponents, and as teammates that helped them become close brothers off the field. Daniel and Marcelo would go on to share instrumental experiences as friends growing up together through the pivotal years of their lives. Through the life experiences that they have shared they have bonded and carried out the same good-hearted attitude into everything they do. Even through some competitive riffs between the two, Marcelo and Daniel have remained the closest of friends. Daniel is able to confide in Celo, and Marcelo is able to rely on Daniel to reciprocate the same. Best friends on and off the field.

D! Danielle and Andrea have known each other since high school but after graduation is when they became close. Exploring life as young adults, Andrea and Danielle we able to relate on school, new jobs, the new world of dating (recounting hilarious dates) and what new places to check out on the weekends. They grew incredibly close, Danielle is a ride or die. They have taken road trips together always jamming out (Andrea usually rapping to Danielle haha), wine nights, holiday parties and everything in between. Danielle works as a veterinarian teacher (absolutely killing the game) and is always there when Andrea freaks out at any little thing for Mac or Rylie. Andrea and Danielle are ride or die. Simple as that.

Louis Grote

LOUUUU! Louis and Daniel met in 2013 during some of their first days of college in Lawrence, KS. They ran into one another just outside of their dorm, McCollum Hall, while both looking to get into some trouble. The two grew to be great friends almost instantaneously, with the same rebellous, out-of-sate, freshmen attitude they carried on KU"s campus throughout 2013-14. They shared countless college experiences together, going to KU baskeball games, parties, bars and more! During holidays and breaks in school when Daniel couldn't travel back home, Louis was always kind enough to extend an offer to him to join his family and friends. From Thanksgiving in 2013 to Daniels' 21st birthday, Louis made sure that Daniel had good people around him to celebrate. While Daniel and Louis didn't continue as college classmates after their freshmen year at KU, their friendship never dwindled. Daniel would continue making trips to St Louis to visit Lou and his family; and Louis would go on to visit Daniel in California. Louis and Daniel's rebellious personalities align so well it almost seems like destiny/fate brought them together at the front of McCollum Hall so many years ago. Through amazing times, tough tribulations, and crazy life events they've persevered together, it's no wonder why they've become such close brothers.

Kaylee Nunez

Kayles! Kaylee and Andrea became friends starting with their love of lashes, that was their first conversation! They became friends while checking out new restaurants in San Jose and working for the Sharks. Kaylee and Andrea were roommates and became a dynamic duo! Work wise killing it, and having the most fun as roommates can. Kaylee, hands down best roommate. She taught Andrea some way better cooking skills, constantly making some delicious meals. Kaylee and Andrea enjoyed nights of F.R.I.E.N.D.S, wine, SkipBo, our favorite movies on repeat, and everything roommates do! Kaylee and Andrea went on some amazing road trips together, always ready to roll whenever the other is. Napa, Denver, Chicago, Oregon to name a few, and looking forward to more adventures together. They both have been moving around as their careers progress but continue to stay close. Andrea couldn't imagine her wedding without Kaylee and is so excited for her to stay by her side.

Kyle Stonestreet

KBOOG! Kyle and Daniel met in 2014 in Lawrence, KS while carrying out the usual college shenanigans at his apartment complex, the Connections. They would go on to share countless memories and experiences together in the Midwest through their college years. In 2016, Kyle made the "tough decision" to move to California for the Summer with the Keifers to pursue a position Daniel had helped him get with the Junior Giants. Over the course of the 2016 Summer and moving forward, Daniel and Kyle's friendship really took off. On a very consistent basis, Kyle will go above and beyond to go back West a to visit Daniel and the great state of California. On each trip back West, Daniel played tour guide to ensure Kyle and all other visiting Kansas friends had the most tremendous California experience possible. Throughout their adventures in the Midwest and West Coast, Kyle and Daniel became incredibly good friends. Both coming from good families and strong sports backgrounds, Kyle and Daniel share characteristics and traits that have helped them cultivate the special friendship and bond they have today.

Tater Tot! Tatum is such a blessing. Our little Hodge love. Growing so so fast, each time Andrea and Daniel see her they are amazed. Courtney constantly keeps them updated with pictures and FaceTime! They can't wait to see her walking or running down the aisle for their day.

Koda Bear! Koda is one cool little boy. His little voice is one of Andrea's favorite things, she loves talking with him and seeing how his days are going. He is Mia's little boy and his Auntie A loves him so much. He enjoys playing with his Uncle Keifer too, so having him here on our day just made sense.
