It all started in San Jose, California. Daniel started working for the San Jose Sharks, where Andrea was already a seasoned employee. The two had seen each other around the office, at Ticket Sales meetings, and out for drinks with mutual coworkers, but other than "work small talk," Andrea and Daniel kept it professional. That is until, after a few months, Daniel asked Andrea for her number, so he could "get a haircut" (though he never did). Even early on, Andrea couldn't help but want to constantly be around Daniel's positive attitude and "kid in a candy store mentality." There was just something about him. After a few weeks (and no haircut scheduled), Daniel asked Andrea out on a date, which she gladly accepted. Andrea had previously mentioned her love for sushi, so Daniel found the perfect sushi spot for their first date. It wasn't until mid-date that Daniel revealed that he doesn't like sushi, but he just wanted the date to go well. And (thankfully) it did! Shortly after, the couple took their first trip together to Denver, Colorado, to watch the Sharks take on the Avalanche in the playoffs with a group of friends, and that's when Daniel asked Andrea to be his girlfriend. The rest was history. After Denver, the couple became inseparable. They lived together in San Jose, attending many sporting events, concerts, and trips to see each of their families. They traveled all over California, Denver, and Dallas. And that was just the start. In December 2020, they got their first dog together, Mac, who is their little fur baby. In June 2021, they embarked on a cross-country move together to Miami, Florida. Daniel mapped out stops along the way to visit friends and catch a few baseball games along the journey. Traveling that far and surviving that many days on the road together told them their relationship could take on anything. And it has! In December 2021, Daniel and Andrea came home to California to spend the holidays with their families. On Christmas Eve, Daniel surprised Andrea in front of their family and friends. He asked her to spend the rest of their lives together, and she said yes! Now they live with Mac in Washington, DC! They are so happy to share their special day with you all and cannot wait to see you in December!
