1) Adirondack Regional Airport (SLK): Direct flights from Boston on Cape Air; quick 20 minute Uber / taxi to Lake Placid. You may also consider flying from your home city to Boston, and then hopping on the 1 hour flight on Cape Air. 2) Plattsburgh (PBG): Direct flights from Washington (IAD) on United; 1 hour Uber / taxi to Lake Placid. 3) Albany (ALB): Direct flights from many locations on Southwest and other major airlines; 2 hour drive to Lake Placid. 4) Burlington (BVT): Direct flights from Washington (IAD & DCA), Chicago (ORD), Newark, NYC (LGA & JFK) on United, American, Delta; 2 hour drive to Lake Placid.
