Is there a dress code?

What time will the ceremony start?

Answer

5:00pm. Access to the boat will not be granted until 4:45pm.

Where can I park?

Answer

There are a limited number (about 10) of parking spots in the lot in front of the Skansonia. There is additional public parking on the street. If you’re local, consider Lyft!

Is the ceremony outdoors?

Answer

If the weather cooperates, we will be married outside on the bow of the boat, which is not enclosed and is not covered. If the weather does not cooperate, the ceremony will take place in the enclosed event space inside the boat.

Will it be cold on the boat?

Answer

The boat will be heated inside and the dining and dance area are enclosed. However, weather allowing, we will be married outside. So a shawl or jacket is recommended as the bow of the boat is exposed to the elements.

Will the boat remain moored to the dock the entire evening?

Answer

The boat will not leave the dock.

What’s the plan after the ceremony?

Answer

Cocktail hour, dinner, speeches and dancing on the main floor of the ferry boat!

What about kiddos?

Answer

We love your kiddos! However, to give all our guests the opportunity to let their hair down and have a good time without having to worry about little eyes and ears we politely request no guests under the age of 21.
