Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO)

We recommend flying into Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José, which is the closest international airport to the villa. Our suggestion is to arrive in San José the night before traveling to Manuel Antonio so you can rest and settle in before the celebrations begin — but of course, travel plans are entirely up to each guest!

Domestic Flights

Two airlines offer flights from San José (SJO) to Quepos (XQP), and the journey is only about 25 minutes. After landing in San José, you’ll need to clear customs, pick up your luggage, and walk to the nearby domestic terminal (about a 7-minute walk). Ground Transportation

Enjoy a beautiful scenic drive to Manuel Antonio with fellow wedding guests! This private van option is arranged through our villa concierge and the trip typically takes about 3–3.5 hours. Pricing varies depending on the number of passengers, so if you’re arriving around the same time as other guests, we recommend sharing the ride to help lower the cost. Important: To arrange transportation, please register using the villa link below and include your flight details.

Where to Stay

There are many wonderful hotels near the venue across a wide range of price points. Manuel Antonio is a small beach town, so most hotels are within a short drive of the villa. There are also many Airbnb and vacation rental options in the area if you prefer more space or are traveling with a group! Below are a few nearby options to help you get started: Mango Moon Villa — 0.6 miles (~13-minute walk) Hotel Costa Verde — 1.7 miles (~7-minute drive) Hotel Villas de la Selva — 1.8 miles (~7-minute drive) The Falls Resort at Manuel Antonio — 2 miles (~8-minute drive) If you need any assistance with accommodations, please feel free to contact the villa concierge. NOTE: We recommend booking accommodations early, as Manuel Antonio is a small area and hotels can fill up quickly!!!

Rental Car

Rental Cars

Parking in Manuel Antonio is very limited, so having a car can often be more of a burden than a convenience. Taxis are plentiful and relatively inexpensive for getting around town. If you plan to stay in the area after the wedding festivities, you can easily arrange for a rental car to be delivered directly to your lodging upon checkout.
