Yes!! You must have a valid passport to enter Costa Rica. Check your passport early, it must be valid for a minimum of 3 months to travel to Costa Rica. A return ticket out of the country is required as well.
Yes, USD is accepted country wide. If you pay in USD, you will receive colones as the change. Please Note – any bills that are torn, old looking or have writing on them will not be accepted at 99% of establishments because local banks do not accept them.
Yes, the water in Costa Rica is generally considered safe to drink. If you have a very sensitive system, or are concerned that something could disagree with you, you can play it safe with bottled water. The villas have bottled water to refill your personal water bottles.

We will be providing transportation for all guests staying off-site to and from the villa on wedding day. Pick up times will be provided for guests once we get closer to the date and have all the guest lodging.

We love your little VIPs, but due to space limitations, the wedding day will be adults-only. The rest of the weekend is open for family fun! If you’d like help arranging nanny services for the big night, please reach out to us directly.
The dress code is tropical cocktail - wear something that makes you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate. While parts of the celebration will be indoors, Costa Rica’s tropical climate is warm and humid, so lightweight, breathable fabrics such as linen, cotton, silk blends, or chiffon are great choices. Comfortable footwear is recommended — block heels, wedges, dressy sandals, loafers, or lightweight dress shoes.
We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony so we can all be fully present — we'll have two photographers and will share the photos with all of our guests!
