Will this be an outdoor wedding?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. This will include sandy beaches, manicured lawns, wooded hills, and a floating dock.

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

If your invite says "and guest", then you can plan on getting a +1 when you RSVP! Thank you for not bringing a guest unless your invitation indicated otherwise.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We request that our guests come dressed in semi-formal or dressy casual attire. Some general guidelines are as follows: Ladies- cocktail dresses or long dresses, dressy bottoms and tops Men- suit and tie, dress pants with a button down shirt

A special note regarding shoes:

Since this will be an outdoor wedding, stilettos could be difficult to walk in grassy areas and on the beach. We recommend flats, wedges, or block heels.

Is there a hotel block where I should make my reservations?

Answer

Yes! Please click the travel tab on our site for links and details regarding our hotel blocks and other available accommodations such as lakefront AirBnB's available for rent!

Why is one of the AirBnBs on your Travel tab is not available for the dates I want?

Answer

Unfortunately, another guest may have already booked it! If you've noticed that we have a link to an unavailable rental, please let us know so we can remove it from our Travel tab.

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available off site at a nearby church. There is NO parking at the ceremony or reception venue. Before the ceremony, drivers should drop off their passengers at the ceremony venue, then proceed to the church parking lot at: New Prospect Methodist Church 2018 Buford Dam Rd Buford, GA 30518 A shuttle service will be taking guests from the church lot to the venue. We request that drivers please drop off their riders at the venue first so that the shuttle service can run quickly :)
