We have a new date for a tiny elopement ceremony with immediate family and bridal party. We sincerely wish we could have the big wedding with all original guests present, but plan to have a celebratory anniversary reception in Seattle in the future so that we all may celebrate together when it is safe to do so. We thank you for your understanding during this difficult time and send our love to all.
We simply must acknowledge that this is a strange, scary and uncertain time we are presently in, and many of us are facing difficult times and difficult decisions. We have decided to postpone our wedding and have sent out notices by mail to each household. We are sorry for any inconveniences this may present and dearly hope sometime soon, in the future, we can hold the big wedding with all of you that we dreamed of.
The story begins in 7th grade... Both instantly intrigued by each other from across the classroom, they began “dating". Although the puppy love lasted only a few weeks, feelings lingered as they continued to cross paths at school, around town, and at sporting and social events throughout the years while each following their separate paths in life. One day in 2015, Andrea contacted Dominic on a whim, reminiscing about a moment of reconnection they had shared years earlier. Andrea was living in California at the time, but the distance could not keep them apart. They had their first date a few weeks later when Andrea visited Seattle; a bottle of Cotes du Rhone on Alki Beach followed by a homemade dinner on the deck and their relationship had officially begun (again!). Thanks to Dominic's airline job and flight benefits, they were able to visit each other frequently until Andrea returned to Seattle. The rest, as they say, is history.
