We arranged for a deal with Tri-State Transportation taxi service for set rates of $20 for up to 4 people in a car to and from the Southside Steakhouse to Mountain Top as well as from hotels to Mountain Top. You'll need to call ahead at least 1 hour (802-855-3130)to reserve a pick up for the cab both to and from. We will be in the Gold Ball Room to the right as you walk in, and the maitre d’ will show you to the room. We kindly ask that you allow 20-25 minutes of driving time if coming from the Mountain Top Inn & Resort. The restaurant is located near the center of Rutland. We look forward to seeing you! (meal preferences sent in invitations)

The Chuppah ceremony will follow about 20-25 minutes after outside on the patio overlooking the mountains, unless there is precipitation then it will be held in the loft atop the barn (second level of reception space to the left of the patio). We kindly ask that you dress prepared for cold temperatures in the 40's-50's. We also ask that you leave your cell phones turned off and that you not take personal photography. We will have two photographers and two videographers during this time to capture the moments. We want you to soak it in and enjoy! We will conclude with a petal toss! Cocktail Hour will then be inside tavern immediately following.

For those staying on-site in one of the houses, we have Mountain Top complimentary shuttles available to transport guests. They'll be available after the reception & late night tavern celebration. If you need a shuttle & don't see it you can call the main line at Mountain Top. We kindly ask that no guests walk after dark to or from their house to the Inn or around the property. The Vermont mountains can be quite dark & you may not have phone reception. The temps will be cold, dipping below 30's at night. If shuttles see you walking they may stop to assist you to your destination on site. For those staying off-site, you may leave your car in the lot at the main inn if you would prefer to take a taxi (and taxi back to pick it up the next day). See the FAQ's section or next section for After party to read more about available taxi info.
