Flight
The largest airport in the area is the international airport in Cancun (CUN). Tulum is a 2 hour drive south from there. Please try to fly in on Thursday 3/28 or Friday 3/29. You can also fly in on Saturday 3/30, but be aware that the wedding is on Saturday evening. Nonstop flights to Cancun are approximately: * 5 hours from LAX * * 4.5 hours from NYC airports or Boston * * 4 hours from Chicago * * 2.5 hours from Mexico City * * 2 hours from Florida * Don't forget to book your tickets well ahead of time. Remember: the Google Flights price alert is your friend!
Flight
This is a brand-new airport (opened Dec 2023). It's the closest airport to the wedding venue but you might not find a great selection of flights.
Hotel
We have prepared a room block for you! Namron Hospitality representative Irving Orozco will be contacting you with further details. Should you need to contact Irving, please reach him at... irving@namronhospitality.com +1 (386) 271 0300
Travel Note
We will book a van from Cancun International Airport (CUN) to Tulum on both Thursday and Friday, and a van in the opposite direction on Sunday morning and/or afternoon. The timing on the shuttles depend on when our guests fly in, so please let us know when you book your flights so we can figure out the logistics. For more information on getting around once you arrive in Tulum, see the FAQs.
Rental Car
We will provide transportation from the airport (CUN) to Tulum (see above). However, if you feel more comfortable renting your own car, we recommend Enterprise. When you arrive in CUN, there will be an Enterprise kiosk after the baggage claim. The kiosk staff will walk you to the parking area and you will be transported to Enterprise in a van. Keep in mind that the roads in Tulum are narrow and full of potholes, and that parking in the area is a $12-$20 flat rate depending on the time of day. For more information on getting around once you arrive in Tulum, see the FAQs.
Train
The new Tren Maya started service in December 2023, but it doesn't look like a viable option for traveling to Tulum just yet. We'll keep an eye on its progress and continue to update you!
