One day during Meghan's sophomore year at Towson, a friend asked her to play on a flag football team. After playing on the team for awhile she was invited to attend the team's Filipino Club. On the first day she arrived, she saw a really cute boy across the room. She didn't introduce herself because she was too shy. Two years went by and although she didn't forget about him, she never saw him again. Fast forward to her senior year. Meghan and her friend Brie went to a college event in the auditorium. Meghan spotted out that cute boy (Andrae) in the sea of hundreds of people, but still couldn't introduce herself. The next day, Meghan and Brie went to a party to celebrate tigerfest. When Meghan arrived she noticed that really cute boy from years ago. She knew at that moment that she had to finally introduce herself because she didn't know if she would get the chance again. It seemed like fate that she finally saw that boy after all these years and now she saw him two days in a row. Meghan is the last person to ever go and initiate a conversation with someone new but decided to just do it! She went up to Andrae who was throwing around a football and asked "do you want to play"? Andrae then said "it's okay, you can have it". She thought that he denied her! But instead they introduced themselves and ending up hanging out for the rest of the party. That night Meghan bought Andrae some pizza and they spent hours upon hours talking and laughing the night away! The rest was history! Meghan absolutely loves Disney and her and Andrae would vacation there a few times each year. On May 16th, 2019, Andrae and Meghan went to Magic Kingdom and decided to take some pictures in front of the castle as usual. Andrae got down on one knee and asked Meghan to marry him at her favorite place in the whole world and she said YES! We're so excited for this new chapter in our lives and can't wait to celebrate with everyone we love!
