Answer

Kindly RSVP by March 1st, 2025.

Question

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING FESTIVITIES?

Answer

Welcome drinks: Garden Cocktail attire (Cocktail dresses, sports coats, short or long sleeve button downs, pants, loafers, sandals, no flip flops) Wedding: Black Tie (Evening dresses, tuxedos, heels, loafers, etc.) Note: we will be changing locations throughout the day (including grassy areas), so opt for more comfortable shoes if walking in heels isn't your thing!

Question

WHERE SHOULD I STAY DURING THE WEDDING?

Answer

We recommend booking at Aquabella Hotel & Spa where we have secured a discount code and will provide transportation to/from wedding events. See the 'Travel' page for more details & to book! If availability is limited or you'd like to book a different hotel, we have provided some recommendations for close by alternatives. Please note, should you choose to book your own accommodations elsewhere, transportation to/from the venue for wedding festivities will only be provided from Aquabella. If you have any questions or concerns about where to stay, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Question

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE IN FRANCE?

Answer

While the wedding celebrations begin on Monday, June 9th, we recommend arriving in Aix en Provence a few days prior to adjust to the time difference and to have the opportunity to explore the city ahead of the wedding (though of course this is optional).

Question

WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO?

Answer

Marseille Provence Airport (MRS) in Marseille, France is the closest international airport. You can also fly into Nice Côte d'Azur Airport in Nice, FR and travel to Aix en Provence by train or fly into Paris Charles de Gaull Airport and connect to Marseille by either flight or 3.5 hour train.

Question

WHAT AIRLINE DO YOU RECOMMEND?

Answer

From New York, there are many direct flights from JFK or Newark (EWR) airports via Delta, Jet Blue, American, and more.

Question

WHERE IS THE VENUE LOCATED?

Answer

Chateau de Sannes was built by an advisor to King Henry the IV in 1603. Today it is a vineyard specializing in white and rose wines. Located in Luberon, it is 30 minutes outside of Aix en Provence and 45 minutes outside of Marseille.

Question

HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE OR MY HOTEL?

Answer

From the Marseille airport you can easily book an Uber or find a Taxi to take you to Aix en Provence. Please note Uber may not be available leaving Aix en Provence and you may need to schedule a shuttle with your Hotel or local taxi company (see the 'Travel' page for more details). Transportation will be provided to/from Chateau de Sannes for the Wedding (see the 'Travel' page for more details).

Question

Answer

Yes! Please make sure to note your specific allergies or dietary restrictions when you submit your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

ARE KIDS WELCOME AT THE WEDDING?

Answer

The wedding will be 18+. We know that your family comes first though, and completely understand if that prevents you from attending.

Question

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate with you and hope you can make it, but due to capacity restrictions at the venue, we're unable to accommodate any additional plus ones. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

WHAT IS THE TIME DIFFERENCE IN FRANCE?

Answer

France is 6 hours ahead of New York (12pm in France is 6am in New York) and 9 hours ahead of California (12pm in France is 3am in California).

Question

WHAT CURRENCY DO THEY USE IN FRANCE?

Answer

The Euro! We recommend ordering some euros from your bank ahead of your trip to ensure the best exchange rate & to have some on hand from the moment of arrival, though banks are of course plentiful throughout the city. We also recommend checking with your bank/credit cards to see if there are any international transaction fees for using local ATMs or your cards internationally, in advance. Many places in the South of France do take credit cards but having euros on hand is never a bad idea.

Question

WHAT SHOULD I DO IN FRANCE BEFORE/AFTER THE WEDDING?

Answer

See the 'Things to Do' page for suggestions of where to stay, eat, shop, explore and more!

WHAT DO WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OUR PASSPORTS BEFORE WE TRAVEL?

Routine processing is currently taking between 6-8 weeks and expedited processing is currently taking 2-3 weeks, for an additional $60 not including shipping.
