When should we arrive?

Answer

We will be having a casual, optional welcome party the evening of Wednesday, December 30th. Formal wedding events will begin on Thursday, December 31st, in the early evening.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel room block reserved at Hilton Garden Inn New Braunfels (1501 IH-35 N, New Braunfels, TX, 78130). Please see the travel page for more information. There are also a number of adorable homes for rent in the New Braunfels area if that is more your style.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Due to the spread-out nature of Texas, if you plan to explore extensively, you may want to consider renting a car for personal transport. Please see our Travel & Lodging page for more information about rideshares and public transportation options. If you are not comfortable driving in a city, you may want to Uber/Lyft from the airport and pick up a rental car in New Braunfels. Driving on I-35 between San Antonio and Austin is not for the faint of heart.
