Conveniently located in beautiful Jacksonville, this will be a good launcing point for both wedding venue proximity and adventuring during your stay here. Applegate River Lodge & Restaurant

We reserved the lodge for our wedding party and guests on a first-claimed basis. There is a two night minimum stay - Friday and Saturday, October 4th & 5th. This is the closest available lodging to the wedding venue, about 10 minutes away. Call the lodge to reserve your room and give them our name and wedding date. They also have two cottages that were still available when we last checked, though we did not reserve them. You can call the lodge to inquire further if you are interested.

General Medford/Phoenix/ Talent/Ashland Information

If you're staying for a long weekend, we recommend looking in the Jacksonville, Ashland, Talent area, or more Central/East Medford (north of the I-5 and east of downtown, generally). If you have questions on a particular place let us know and we're happy to give our thoughts. There are lots of AirBnB or VRBO options in the area so be sure to check these out. JACKSONVILLE is a lovely, historic town and a good base camp for experiencing Southern Oregon. It is about 25 minutes from the wedding venue. ASHLAND is wonderful. Please know that it is about an hours drive from the wedding venue. CENTRAL POINT is a bit farther away. Note that there is only freeway access at the NW and SE ends of medford. I-5 is elevated through most of the city, without ramps. We don't recommend staying here. GRANTS PASS, as we mention elsewhere, is a ways away and not convenient for anything. We do not recommend staying here.

Grants Pass

DON'T stay in Grants Pass. You'll be a far drive from everything and everyone. It looks close but is only convenient to the wedding venue, not anything else.
