Have a question? Check this section! If your question is not answered, please reach out to us and we'll get you an answer as soon as possible.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request that you RSVP no later than July 20th, but the sooner you can let us know the better! We appreciate your effort in notifying us as soon as possible.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

There is a wedding/honeymoon registry section here on our website. We are currently working on this as we begin to plan our honeymoon to Myanmar! We've added some things already but we will continue to add to this as we work through planning the itinerary, so check back soon for more informaiton!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you join us in dressing in your most comfortable coctail party attire. The wedding will be outdoors and into the evening hours, so we would recommend bringing a light jacket, shawl or otherwise in case it gets cool. Bring comfy shoes to dance in!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts sharply at 5:30 pm. Please arrive around 5 pm to settle in and say hello to old friends and new! The tasting room at Troon Vineyard is open to the general public until 5 pm (last pour at 4:30 pm) so you can certainly arrive earlier to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the mountain and vineyard views.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we had to limit our guest list to 100 family and friends to accommodate our venue site. We will not be able to offer a +1 unless we have specifically discussed this with you previously. But have no fear! We are all family at this event so you will have a blast and be welcomed and embraced by everyone!

Question

What do I need to know about driving laws in Oregon?

Answer

Keep your speeding at less than 10 miles over. Oregon fines jump significantly at that point. In Oregon all driver's cell phones must be attached to the car physically, and are only usable via hand-free devices or uses that require no more than one press on the screen. 1st time fines can be an easy $1000.

Question

When does the wedding end?

Answer

Music will be ending at 10pm. Everyone must be off premises by 11pm. We are charged for every hour after 11pm, so if you find a coordinator coming around to gently herd us places, you know why ;)

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have two food trucks serving various dinners in both vegan/vegetarian/meat friendly options. Dairy and gluten can easily be omitted from both vendors options.

Question

Outside food or alcohol at the wedding?

Answer

No. We will be providing local beer and great wine for you to enjoy. Hard liquor is not allowed at the winery/venue due to state law. Leave those flasks at your lodging, please. We will be providing food from two delicious food truck options, sure to satisfy everyone's tastebuds and vegan/vegetarian/meat preferences. The tasting room is open for its usual hours until 5pm for anyone who arrives early or wants to sample.

Question

What do I need to know about Jacksonville?

Answer

Jacksonville is a beautiful National Historic Landmark town with fun shopping, entertainment, and dining options. Very walkable. Home of the Britt Festivals with high quality music events each summer. It's a pretty short drive to Medford, and about 20-25 minutes to Ashland. It's about 25-30 minutes to the wedding venue. To note - DO NOT SPEED! Cops will fine you for 1-2 mph over the limit when driving through J'Ville. Also, if a pedestrian is looking like they may be crossing the street, STOP. Pedestrians have full right of way at crosswalks and tickets for not stopping fall in tandem with those speeding tickets.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

See the "Travel" section above for more information on where we recommend finding hotels/accommodations.
