Where is The Pond?
Answer
The Pond is Michelle's aunt and uncle's property in Emerson, Iowa. Directions: - Find intersection 390th Street & Hutchings Ave in Emerson, Iowa, 51533. - Head north on 390th Street less than a quarter of a mile. - Turn right onto a private gravel driveway. Follow the driveway about a quarter mile until you reach the pond. Trees will be on your left and crops on your right. - Coordinates to The Pond driveway are (41.062047, -95.441951).

Are childeren allowed?
Answer
100%! Childeren are encouraged to attend and make it a fun family affair. There is a playground with swings, slides, and a merry-go-round to play on. The kids can even swim in the pond and play in the small beach area if they aren’t afraid of getting wet and a little seaweed.

Where should I stay?
Answer
Please click the “Travel” tab to see more details. There is a hotel block at the Red Coach Inn & Suites in Red Oak, but there are various camping and Airbnb/VRBO options in the surrounding area as well!

What day should I get to town?
Answer
This is totally up to you! Saturday is the day of the ceremony and reception, but if you’d like to join us for a float trip down the muddy local river or give yourself time to explore the surrounding around, come to town Thursday night or Friday morning!

Are alcohol and drinks provided?
Answer
Coolers of various light beers, sodas, seltzer waters, and water bottles will be provided.

When and where are the cermony and reception being held?
Answer
The ceremony and reception party will be held at Michelle’s uncle and aunt’s pond. The single location is located on the corner of 390th St & Hutchings Ave, Emerson, Iowa.

Are dogs allowed?

Although we do love dogs, we would ask that your lovely dogs stay at home for this one.
