Friday Muddy Float Trip

Bring your worst swimsuit, kayaks/paddle board/floaties, drinks, and snacks for a classic muddy Midwest river float!
It’s not the cleanest or prettiest river in the country. But it is a good time! If you'd like, join us Friday afternoon for a float trip down the Nishnabotna River (only ~2 miles from the Pond)! No hard feelings if you can't make it, start at a different time, or would rather explore another area! *If the river is to low or muddy, we will need to cancel. Meet us at The Pond afterwards for the Welcome Event

Come join us for seafood broil dinner and music the day before the wedding. Bring your own drinks, lawn chairs, and bug spray to listen to Pond Scum play a fun set.

Directions: - Find intersection 390th Street & Hutchings Ave in Emerson, Iowa. - Head north on 390th Street less than a quarter of a mile. - Turn right onto a private gravel driveway. Follow the driveway about a quarter mile until you reach the pond. Trees will be on your left and crops on your right. - Coordinates to The Pond driveway are (41.062047, -95.441951).
Reception

Join us for the celebration at The Pond (same location as the ceremony)! The party will be fun for people of all ages. There will be plenty of drinks, food, and yard games all night for everyone. The kids will have playground equipment such as swings, slides, and a merry-go-round. Get ready to dance with the band!
