What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30pm, so we recommend arriving at 4:00pm so you can find a seat and prepare for the big moment! To note: The Abbey check-in is at 4pm so we recommend calling ahead to see if early arrival is an option.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding calls for formal attire, but most importantly, we want you to feel confident and comfortable. Choose an outfit that makes you look and feel your absolute best.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly request an adults-only ceremony and reception, creating an elegant evening where all guests can fully relax and celebrate without childcare concerns. Thank you for making arrangements and understanding.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Our brief ceremony will take place outdoors, along with our cocktail hour. Dinner, drinks and dancing will be indoors with the option to head outside to a patio for fresh air. We hope we are lucky enough to have a beautiful September evening, however in the case of inclement weather, we will move the ceremony and cocktail hour indoors.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We've reserved a room block at The Abbey with special rates for our wedding guests. For full details and booking information, please visit our travel page. If the hotel block fills up, we recommend exploring local Airbnb and VRBO options in the area.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.
