Flight
Considering Other Flight Options? Read This First If you're exploring different flight options, here are a few key tips to make your journey smoother: Skip short layovers. Connections under 1.5 hours in the U.S. are risky and even minor delays can cause you to miss your next flight. Avoid layovers in third countries. These often require you to clear customs and immigration mid-trip, which adds stress and time. If you do choose one of these routes to save money: Allow at least 2.5 hours for layovers in another country. Try not to check a bag, luggage is more likely to be delayed or lost during international transfers. Keeping all connections within the U.S. helps you avoid extra customs steps, reduces stress, and makes delays easier to manage.
