The National WWII Museum
We've visited this museum many times and have enjoyed every visit! This is always one of our top recommendations when friends come to town.
Cafe Du Monde French Market
You can't go to the French Quarter without stopping at Cafe Du Monde for some beignets! Be prepared to walk out wearing powdered sugar.
Ruby Slipper Cafe
This is one of our favorite brunch spots! It's usually pretty busy, but always worth the wait. The eggs cochon are to die for!
Audubon Aquarium of the Americas
Our aquarium is one of the best we've been to!
The Tchoup Yard
We LOVE hanging out at Tchoup Yard. They have great drinks, an amazing outdoor patio area (complete with the cutest lighting), and tasty bites!
Frenchmen Street
Frenchmen Street is great for those seeking a unique New Orleans experience. Here, you can find live music, eccentric bars, and great late-night grub!
The Carousel Bar & Lounge
Located inside The Hotel Monteleone, the historic Carousel Bar features delicious New Orleans hand-crafted cocktails, the city's only revolving bar, and a relaxed atmosphere. This is a great spot to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. (Our little secret: they have the best, cleanest restrooms in the quarter!)
Audubon Park
This is where we got married in 2020! This park has been a huge part of our lives since living in New Orleans. Easily accessible by the St. Charles Streetcar, Audubon Park is an excellent place to go for a stroll. The breathing oak trees make for a perfect photo-op.
St. Charles Streetcar
Talk about desirable! Hop on the St. Charles Streetcar and ride down the beautiful St. Charles Avenue. It's lined with historic homes, beautiful oak trees, and an all-day pass is only $3.00.
