Anastasia Kasper

Bride

The girls in my bridal party have one important thing in common - they are more than my friends. They are my sisters. I met each of them at different times in my life. I met Sara and Courtney in elementary school, Patience, Alexis, and Brayley during college. Regardless when they entered my life - I knew one thing when I met each of them - we had a special bond and they would be in my life forever. They are kind, loving, compassionate, selfless, and challenge me to be a better person. They are inspiring and I cannot put into words what they mean to me. I’m so blessed and grateful to call these girls my friends, my sisters, and my confidantes. Thank you for all sticking by my side through thick and thin. I could not imagine our wedding without any of you. I love you guys!

Not all love is relationships and heartbreaks. Sometimes love is a friend, and a friendship is a marriage between two people who understand each other. Who know everything about each other and still show each other what they deserve. That kind of love is essential. Anastasia showed me this. In fact, meeting her was my first introduction to fate. USM is where we met. I still remember her doing “the worm” and volunteering to squirm around in gold paint during an event. I was infatuated with her desire to live life so freely and without fear of judgement. From then on, our friendship blossomed. We confided in each other and built a level of trust and comfortability so strong that we’re still friends to this day. She’ll always be my sister from another mister.

Anastasia and I met in the 3rd grade at Starkville Academy. Both new to town, we became quick and inseparable best friends. We would spend all of our time hopping back and forth between each other’s houses, playing at her grandparents, dancing, putting on a radio show during recess, playing instruments, and going to State baseball games together whenever we could. She has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. Ana is loving, wise, smart, funny, goofy, talented, a good listener, and just an all-around wonderful person! It is amazing how we went from 5th graders who had crushes on a couple of guys in band to watching her and that guy from band get married! I am so excited to celebrate her and Harrison and can’t wait to continue third wheeling with them for life. Love you guys!

Courtney Windhorn

Bridesmaid

Anastasia and I became friends in fourth grade after bonding over a mutual love of The Princess Diaries. We soon outgrew our cheap charm bracelets and dove heart-first into the brutal world of middle school romance. I couldn’t have imagined while watching Anna and Harrison’s love grow on the 7th grade band bus that I would be preparing to stand beside them as they forge a new life together, over a decade later. It’s been a true honor to hold a front row seat to their love story and to see the anxious excitement that came with stuffing love notes in lockers transform into sweet anticipation for a future as one. I can’t wait for the day I get to see Anna and Harrison begin their next chapter and, most importantly, recreate all of our favorite scenes from Bridesmaids.

Alexis Ware

Bridesmaid

I met Anastasia at the beginning of my sophomore year and her freshman year at southern miss during the fall of 2013. It was the first day of this set of classes, and I was standing outside of a classroom along with a group of other students waiting for Religion class to start. Out of nowhere, I heard Anastasia’s soft, cheery voice, “Are you a GEWW leader?” I was wearing a black GEWW Crew shirt that said Ask Me a Question. I told her yes, and we exchanged names and began talking a bit. I remember thinking her name was really cool. A minute later we walked into the class. I said we could sit together. So, we did, that day and for the rest of semester. Soon, we began studying and meeting up outside of class, which led to the start of our amazing friendship!

Brayley Nauditt

Bridesmaid

I first met Anastasia at Martin’s at Midtown. I was trying to socialize with people from work and she was Harrison’s plus one. However, the moment that I knew we would be such great friends was in Chicago when she joined Harrison on our work trip and I am so glad she did. That weekend we started the tradition of our adventous nights out by getting kicked off of the ice skating rink. She is always there if I need to talk or just if I need to let go. We have become so close in these past three years and I can’t wait to continue having many more adventures with her! I am so excited to be part of her big day! 🖤

Harrison Warren

Groom

I met each of these guys at slightly different times in my life, but each one has made a significant impact that I will never forget. Chase and I started our friendship before Anastasia and I ever started dating. He has been one of my greatest mentors for tennis, career, and everyday life decisions for over a decade and is someone I hope to emulate one day. James and I became very close in 7th grade when we both started playing tennis seriously. There’s no saying how many hours we’ve spent over the years on a tennis court or playing endless rounds of Call of Duty, but I know I can always count on him no matter what life brings. Beau and I met through tennis also when he and I were in high school, and we also grew quite close over the hours and hours spent on the tennis court. What will

stick with me the most though is how welcoming and kind he and his family was on the many days we hung out together at his parent’s house between tennis sessions. JD and I met through Anastasia and Patience’s sister-like friendship. Over the years we’ve bonded through our many heart-to-heart conversations about our girls, among other things, and many “double-date” sessions. I’ve always admired his ability to be himself and say exactly what he thinks or feels. Sam and I have connected through several trips together and our many conversations about video games, recent technology releases, and endless abundance of comical work issues. Sam has been one of the most dependable and easygoing friends I’ve ever had and is someone I can always rely on for recommendations after a healthy discussion.

Chase Kasper

Father of the Bride + Best Man

Most would think that it was through Anastasia that I first met Harrison. In truth, we first met at Starkville Academy playing tennis. Little did I know from that day forward the positive impact Harrison would have on my life. Tennis has taught me how to deal with life’s challenges. Sometimes those lessons have come directly from others. Harrison is one of those people who taught me valuable lessons in work ethic, patience, and persistence because he masters them. Tennis has given us the opportunity to get to know each other well, and I am thankful and blessed for the time together. Tennis, work, life events (both happy and demanding), and faith are but just a few of life’s wonderful moments Harrison and I have shared. I’m very happy for him now and grateful to witness this special time.

James McKell

Groomsman

Harrison and I started off as band mates (not the cool kind, the “Jingle Bells” in khakis at a Christmas recital kind). We both played trumpet in those early days, and although it was the thing that brought us together, it was not the activity that defined our relationship; that is tennis. On a whim, I decided to join the school team in seventh grade. I sat next to Harrison in the registration meeting, and then on busses, court benches, and bleachers for the next six years. That was one of the best decisions I ever made, because it led to innumerable hours spent with Harrison. From classes to whole summers on the court, there was little we didn’t do together. Harrison and I grew up together. He was next to me when I got married, and I am honored to be next to him on his wedding day.

Beau Eiland

Groomsman

I met Harrison in the summer of my junior year of high school when I moved to Starkville. My dad (the new headmaster at the school) introduced us because we both played tennis. From that point on we played tennis almost every day. It was a shared passion that became a catalyst for a lifelong friendship both on and off the court. When Harrison asked me to be a groomsman I was humbled because his friendship means a lot to me. He’s a genuine person that I know I could count on in any situation and I hope he knows he can count on me as well.

JD Bramlett

Groomsman

I met Harrison years ago through Anastasia’s friendship with my wife. At first, he was quiet and reserved. I knew deep down, though, that he was just as goofy as me. It took a little while for him to warm up to my crazy antics and sarcastic personality. But, once I broke down that barrier, our friendship grew instantaneously. That’s when our friendship truly started. Just as much as I appreciate the fact that Harrison’s able to deal with my weirdness, I also appreciate the man he is — authentic and caring. He’s beyond respectful and always thinking of others in everyday life. Also, who could forget just how dashingly handsome the guy is! I mean, look at his cotton-like hair, bodacious-like physique, and irresistible goofy grin. I couldn’t ask for a better friend.

Sam Nauditt

Groomsman

I met Harrison at work because we were hired around the same time. We hit it off talking about video games and keeping up with interesting gadgets coming on the market. Harrison and Anastasia, and Brayley and I all became closer on our Chicago work trip where we stayed out all night and had some adventures in the city. This set the fun tone for our hangouts to come over the last three years. It’s been an absolute blast getting to be a part of Harrison and Anastasia’s lives, and I’m excited to be included in one of the biggest days of my friend’s life.
