The bride started working at the YMCA in Crown Point, IN while in her first year of PT school (December of 2022), where she quickly became friends with Macy. Macy and the bride not just worked together, but worked out together. Macy had worked at the Y longer than Stacey and had made many friends while there *hint hint Caden*. One day after a lifting session, Macy, Caden, and some others were going to dinner afterwards and Macy asked if Stacey could come along. Caden said "Sure!". Well, when we all get to said restaurant, Caden and Stacey are sat next to each other in the middle of a U-Shaped Booth - we would say they were forced to talk, but Caden never has to be forced to do this. Snapchats were exchanged and friendship established. We started a snapchat streak and continued to hang out in group settings. Then came a day in January, Caden was complaining of back pain, and Stacey being in PT school decided to help him out that morning. They then went to the gym together and had their first lone gym session. Macy was working that day and said bye to us on our way out. Stacey had another tattoo appointment that day, Caden had nothing to do, and Macy suggested Caden go along. So he did. We spent the whole day together, morning PT, gym session, tattoo appointment in Chicago, Chipotle on the way home, and Crumbl as a sweet treat afterwards. This was the start of many more one on one lifting sessions, one on one hang outs, and feelings continued to blossom when both the bride and groom will admit that neither of them were looking for relationships at the time. February 5th, 2023 came along and Caden finally asked Stacey to be his girlfriend... on January 21st, 2026 Caden finally asked Stacey to be his future wife... and on October 8th, 2027 they will both say "I do".
